Donated by Ignacio Matte Blanco in 1988 (Accession 1988-002). The letters were originally added to the archives' correspondence collection (ref. CMB/F07) but recatalogued as a single collection in 2006. They were also recopied onto archival quality paper at this time.Content and structure
Scope and Content
Photocopies of six letters received by Matte Blanco commenting on his psychoanalytic work. The collection comprises one letter from each of the following people: Wilfred Bion, Sigmund Freud, Ernest Jones, Melanie Klein, Bertrand Russell and Walter Schmideberg.
