The articles cover a wide range of subjects, including: mental health issues and forms of treatment; references to the work of practitioners in this field; references to people (particularly well-known figures) receiving treatment; book reviews; criminal cases; religion; and childcare, relationships and lifestyle advice.

The cuttings had not been appraised for items received in error and such items were removed from the collection during cataloguing.
