EPFF is open to all those interested in film and psychoanalysis whatever their background.
(2) Can I attend only one or two events, or do I have to subscribe to the whole festival? Regrettably we cannot organise the EPFF on the basis of costings for individual events, so yes, you would need to subscribe to the whole festival.
(3) I noticed various events take place simultaneously. Can I choose which ones to attend? Once you have booked your place you will be asked to indicate your preferences and we will do our best to accommodate them. When you receive your EPFF wallet there will be tickets colour-coded (Red and Blue) which will correspond to the different events taking place at the same time. It is possible in some cases that you may not get your first-choice of events. You may however find that someone will be happy to swap tickets with you.
(4) Are the Reception on Thursday night, lunches on Friday and Saturday and the Dinner Dance party included in the fee, or do I have to pay separately for them? The Reception and Dinner Dance Party are included in the fee. Additional guests who do not attend the Festival can purchase, in advance, tickets to the Dinner Dance Party. Early application is advised.
(5) This is a European festival, but I can only speak English! How can I understand films or presentations in other languages? The conference language is English, so no need to worry.
(6) Are all the films listed in your brochure/website going to be screened at EPFF?
The films to be screened in their
entirety are noted in the programme (click here for

(7) I have already paid my registration fee, but unfortunately I am now unable to come. Can I get a refund? If you let us know before 1 September 2001 you will receive a refund of 80% of your payment. No monies can be refunded if we are informed after that date.
(8) I am one of the presenters/panellists/chairmen at EPFF. Do I have to register and pay the full fee in order to attend the events I am not involved with myself? If you are presenting at one of the EPFF panels or workshops but do not want to attend the rest of the festival you need pay no fee. Our level of funding and sponsorship, and out limits on the total attendance at BAFTA does not, unfortunately, permit us to waive the conference fee for our presenters who wish to take part in the other events. For that they will be expected to register.
(9) I come from abroad and accommodation seems very expensive. Is there a chance of staying as a guest at one of your colleagues' who resides in London? We are compiling a list of London-based colleagues who would be happy to welcome EPFF delegates into their homes as guests for the period of the conference. If you contact Ann Glynn (see below) you can enquire about this possibility: EPFF Registration
