This site is best viewed on modern
browsers with a screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 with High
Colour (16 Bit) selected. The latest versions of these browsers are
available free and are best installed from cover-disks widely
available on computer magazines. The resolution and text-size are
correct when the top menu bar is on a single line, and the entire
width of a page can be read without horizontal scrolling.
In addition, to optimise the size of the website on your screen you
can, with Internet Explorer, adjust the size of the text under the
'view' menu of the browser. In Netscape Navigator you can adjust the
size of the text by pressing CTRL and ] keys simultaneously. CTRL
and [ keys reduce the font size. This should be adjusted until the
menu items under the main banner and on the top menu-bar are
correctly aligned, so that all the items are in a single line under
the 'British Psychoanalytical Society' banner.
If you are using software supplied as part of Compuserve, AOL or any
other service-provider who supplies a 'front-end' windows
application for running Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape
Navigator, you are advised to use the option to use External Browser
if this is available to you. Many internet sites cannot be viewed
properly with such third-party products.
